About the project

This £552k project was awarded £316k from the Local Growth Fund to expand and enhance training facilities for the Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering and Automotive industries.

The investment is supporting the construction of a new bespoke automotive engineering training centre, the modification and specialisation of the existing workshops and specialist training equipment.

The project aims to deliver 48 apprenticeships, 64 Level 2 qualifications, 118 Level 3 qualifications, 16 Level 4 qualifications and will see 1000m² of training space created in the new centre.
