A £5m project, including £3.5m of Local Growth Funds, to upgrade and refurbish space on the University of Wolverhampton’s Telford campus, including the installation of state-of-the-art equipment, creating a technologically advanced learning facility to support the health, allied health, social work and care sectors within the Marches.
It will incorporate technologies such as immersive reality, revolutionising the way in which learning content is delivered and developing new courses and content to meet market and sector demands.
The investment will result in 72 new jobs, the development of 2 new apprenticeship programmes, 174 new apprentices and enrolment of over 1,000 students in the first four years.
