Current European Social Fund (ESF) tender opportunities open in the Marches

An ESF open call has been launched for projects to support young people in Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin.

The funding is to help young people aged 15-24 not in education, employment or training (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET to overcome barriers to learning or work and help them realise their potential.

Over £728k ESF has been made available from the Marches LEP ESF allocation to support projects in Herefordshire and £2.3m ESF is available for projects in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin.

The open call was launched on 20 November 2019 and will close on 12 February 2020.

Workshops for potential applicants are being held across the Marches during January. The workshops will provide an opportunity for stakeholders and potential applicants to find out more about the open call, ask questions and to network with other organisations who may be interested in applying.
