Three projects to help the region’s economy recover from the huge impact of the coronavirus crisis and February’s floods have been awarded £1.6million funding by the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership.
Businesses in the Marches have benefitted from more than £154 million of Government grant support during the pandemic to date, new figures revealed today.
The leader of the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership today vowed to do everything possible to ensure the region receives all the support it needs to recover from the coronavirus crisis.
The Marches Local Enterprise Partnership is to inject nearly £1.6m into the regional economy to support tourism and businesses affected by flooding and the coronavirus.
Companies operating as essential businesses in the Marches are being invited to share information on how they have implemented social distancing in a move which could help others once the lockdown is over.
