A £5.2m project, including £3.6m from Local Growth Fund aimed at maximising opportunities to attract advanced manufacturing investors linked to the i54 site just 12 miles to the east of Telford.
The project comprises of utility infrastructure works at the Telford 54 (T54) site and network capacity improvements to M54 J4. It opened up the potential of the 31 hectare T54 development site immediately next to junction 4 of the M54 and has brought wider economic benefits to the automotive supply chain.
The project aims to deliver 3,438 new jobs, 1,400 new homes and 31 hectares employment land.
