A £640k project, including £448k Growth Deal funding, it has enabled Herefordshire and Ludlow College to fit out a new land based and vehicle engineering workshop at its Holme Lacy Campus.
The project included increased facilities for welding and fabrication, modern computer linked engineering equipment and agricultural machinery for teaching purposes, aiming to deliver 40 apprentices and develop a higher engineering course by the end of March 2021.
The project had delivered 203 apprenticeships, 1,430 additional qualifications and developed two new higher engineering courses by completion of the contract on 31 March 2021.
