About the project

A £394k project, including £197.4k Growth Deal funding, it has enabled Herefordshire and Ludlow College to fit out a new land based and vehicle engineering workshop at its Holme Lacy Campus.

The project included increased facilities for welding and fabrication, modern computer linked engineering equipment and agricultural machinery for teaching purposes, aiming to deliver 40 apprentices and develop a higher engineering course by the end of March 2021.

Over 200 apprenticeships and over 1,400 additional qualifications have already been delivered.
