About the project

A £162k project, including Growth Deal funds of £81k, to transform the Centre of Vocational Excellence for Engineering in Hereford by acquiring more appropriate and up to date engineering equipment.

The project has enabled increased provision of advanced apprenticeships and mature workforce qualifications to address skills shortages of engineering.

The project had delivered 94 apprenticeships, 625 additional qualifications and supported 40 businesses by completion of the contract on 31 March 2021.
