Founding Vice-Chancellor of Harper Adams University
David Llewellyn is the founding Vice-Chancellor of Harper Adams University, a position he assumed in 2012 following a three year tenure as Principal before full university status was attained.
With a Doctorate of Business Administration in Higher Education Management from the University of Bath, David is also a Fellow of the Institution of Agricultural Engineers; an Associate of the Royal Agricultural Societies; a Trustee of LANTRA, the Sector Skills Council for the environmental and land-based industries; and a board member of Landex, the representative body for FE/HE institutions specialising in land-based subjects.
He will take a lead role on the LEP Board in ensuring that education and research in the agri-food sector supports growth across the economy of The Marches.
David represents The Marches LEP on the Midlands Engine Innovation and Enterprise Group.
