Regional Senior Energy Project Officer – Marches LEP
Full Time, 37 hours per week, 2 year fixed term

This role is geographically based in the Marches LEP and offers a unique and exciting opportunity to help deliver the BEIS funded Local Capacity Support programme across the Midlands. This vacancy, led by the Regional Energy Projects Manager, will become part of the regional energy projects team for the West and East Midlands, forming the ‘Hub’ for which energy projects and programmes can be developed and delivered.
Building on Nottingham’s highly successful Energy Services division there is a post in each of the nine LEPs in the Midlands region, eight of which are filled, all employed by Nottingham City Council. Applications are invited from across this geographical region with the successful candidate to be assigned specifically to the Marches LEP area. The successful candidate will predominantly be based at Herefordshire Council offices and will also have the opportunity for home working for part of the week which will be agreed with their manager.
This post will report to the Regional Energy Projects Manager located in the D2N2 LEP, who in turn reports directly to the Head of Energy Services at Nottingham City Council. Team meetings are held in Nottingham once a month to bring the team together from across the Midlands region and facilitate collaborative working practices.

Dimensions Training Solutions (DTS) has been awarded ESF to deliver the Skills Support for the Workforce contract in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and Herefordshire.
DTS has appointed delivery partners to offer a range of training provision to support business sectors in Herefordshire and across the wider Marches.
