Neil Kerr

Chair of Herefordshire Business Board

Mr Kerr is the chairman of the Herefordshire Business Board. He grew up in Scotland and is a business graduate from the University of Edinburgh. With significant experience in marketing and advertising, Mr Kerr has worked in senior roles with Unilever, JWT and Bass before becoming managing director of Boddingtons Breweries in Manchester. Mr Kerr has been based in the Marches since becoming managing director of Bulmers Cider in the 1990s.

More recently, he has worked as chief executive in several companies, latterly in international logistics. Now retired, Mr Kerr is chairman and has an investor role in two start-up eco-engineering businesses. An experienced businessman, actively involved in business regeneration strategy and in the region's tourism potential, he recently rebuilt and re-opened the Kilpeck Inn, in Kilpeck.
